Overview
Kimberly Koury, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle conditions, including Achilles tendon injuries, ankle ligament reconstruction, flatfoot and bunion deformities, fractures, and arthritis. Dr. Koury is dedicated to helping patients restore mobility, relieve pain, and return to the activities they love through both surgical and nonsurgical treatments. She combines advanced techniques with a personalized, compassionate approach to care.Dr. Koury earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Richmond in Virginia and studied abroad at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. She received her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and completed her orthopedic surgery residency at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She went on to complete a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York.Before joining AMG, Dr. Koury practiced as a foot and ankle specialist in private practice in Bergen County, New Jersey. She has authored peer-reviewed publications, presented at professional meetings, and is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Koury is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
