Overview
Dr. Peairs has long standing general internal medicine practice with a specific interest in cancer survivorship and has several clinical leadership roles. In addition to founding the Primary Care for Cancer Survivorship group, she is the Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs and Ambulatory in the Department of Medicine. She is also the Medical Director for Primary Care Value and Innovation in the Office of Johns Hopkins Physicians. She had been the Clinical Director for General Internal Medicine at Greenspring Station for over ten years prior to her present roles. She is a member of the Miller-Coulson Academy for Clinical Excellence at Johns Hopkins University. She is an active member of the Society of General Internal Medicine and American College of Physicians. Dr. Peairs received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and went on to complete her internship and residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Peairs was an assistant chief of service (chief resident) on the Olser Medical Service and joined the faculty in the Division of General Internal Medicine.
