Overview
I began my career in family medicine in 2001, practicing in the specialty for 17 years before transitioning into urgent care. As a family medicine doctor, I was fortunate enough to care for patients from when they were first born and into adulthood. I enjoyed seeing my pediatric patients thrive both physically and socially. I enjoy partnering with my adult patients in managing their chronic diseases and agreeing on treatment plans, both of which empower them to do what is best for them. In the urgent care model, I enjoy sharing my findings from both the physical exam and testing with patients to explain the reasoning behind their treatment plan. My philosophy of care is to see my patients as a friend or family member and do what is best for them.
