Dr. Lauren B. Rosenthal

Lauren B. Rosenthal, MD, MPH, FACC, is a fellowship-trained pediatric cardiologist with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in both pediatrics and pediatric cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics, her expertise is in the evaluation and treatment of congenital and acquired heart conditions, arrhythmias and cardiomyopathy in fetuses, infants, children and adolescents. Working with a team of specialists to provide coordinated, state-of-the art care, Dr. Rosenthal offers young patients and their families individualized treatment plans based on each child’s specific needs and condition. She is committed to providing the highest quality of care in a comfortable environment for patients and their families.Dr. Rosenthal graduated magna cum laude from the SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, NY, where she was awarded membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She also earned a master’s degree in public health as a Macy’s Scholar from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. She completed her pediatrics residency and a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Columbia University Medical Center, NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital, in New York City. During residency, she was nominated for the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Resident Teaching Award.Dr. Rosenthal is interested in clinical outcomes research and has published and presented her work on pediatric endocarditis, among other topics, at national meetings. She enjoys training pediatric residents, pediatric cardiology nurses and sonographers through lectures, supervising patient-care and hands-on echocardiographic training. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), a board member of the Greater New York Pediatric Echocardiography Society and a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
