
Overview
Anjali Chelliah, MD, FACC, FSCCT, chief of the Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Goryeb Children’s Hospital, part of Atlantic Medical Group, is committed to providing the highest quality care for her patients and their families. Board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Chelliah specializes in noninvasive cardiac imaging, including echocardiography, fetal cardiology, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and cardiac computed tomography (CT). Her interests include advancing the use of low-radiation cardiac CT in children, using 3D modeling to guide congenital heart disease interventions, and improving care and outcomes for fetal cardiology patients. After earning her undergraduate degree at Harvard University and her medical degree at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, Dr. Chelliah completed her pediatric residency at Boston Children’s Hospital. She pursued a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York City, followed by two senior fellowships, one in cardiac imaging at Children’s National Hospital, Washington, DC, and the second in cardiovascular MRI/CT at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, part of the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Chelliah is also an assistant clinical professor of pediatrics at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where she previously served as the director of pediatric cardiovascular MRI and CT. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, is an associate editor of the Journal of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, has presented at dozens of international medical conferences, has served on the Board of Directors of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, and is a fellow of both the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (FSCCT). She has been recognized by Castle Connolly as a Top Doctor and an Exceptional Woman in Medicine and is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
