
Overview
Luke J. King, DO, is a urogynecologist who specializes in treating women with pelvic floor disorders. He cares for patients who have urinary incontinence, frequent or urgent urination, accidental bowel leakage, pelvic organ prolapse, painful bladder conditions and complex genitourinary issues such as fistulas or neovaginas. He also helps women with pelvic muscle dysfunction that can cause pain or limit daily activities.|Dr. King offers surgical and non-surgical treatment options. These include vaginal and minimally invasive procedures to repair pelvic organ prolapse, as well as advanced therapies like sacral neuromodulation to treat bladder and bowel control problems. His goal is always to create a personalized care plan that addresses each patient’s needs and helps them regain comfort and confidence.|A Pennsylvania native, Dr. King earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency before pursuing advanced fellowship training in urogynecology at Brown University. He is proud to return to his home state to care for women in his community. “I enjoy working with patients at all stages of their life and addressing challenges of aging,” he says.|In addition to patient care, Dr. King is passionate about teaching and mentoring future physicians. He has received multiple teaching awards and earned a national research grant from the Fellow Pelvic Research Network for his work in women’s health. His research focuses on advancing therapies for urinary incontinence and bowel leakage.|Outside of medicine, Dr. King and his husband are building a farmstead where they enjoy raising livestock and growing produce.
