She then completed her Internal Medicine Residency Training and Chief Resident Year at Jacobi Medical Center - Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, followed by Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).Dr. Salgado received formal training in musculoskeletal ultrasound through the Ultrasound of North American Rheumatologist (USSONAR). She is board certified in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in Rheumatology (RhMSUS), skills she incorporates into her daily clinical practice.
