Dr. Mary Best
Overview
Dr. Mary Best grew up in Murfreesboro and is excited to practice in her hometown. She attended The University of Tennessee in Knoxville prior to completing medical school and residency at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. Dr. Best is passionate about women’s health with special interests in evidence based obstetrical care, high risk obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery, and patient education. She is a certified DaVinci surgical system provider. While in medical school, Dr. Best received the Outstanding OBGYN Medical Student award, and in residency she received the Outstanding Clinical Teaching by a Resident award.
In her free time, Dr. Best enjoys traveling, hiking, watching and attending UT football and Green Bay Packers games, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her friends and family in the area.
