Growing up in rural Pennsylvania, Dr. Peters graduated from Penn State University and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He completed residency and Chief Residency in psychiatry at Johns Hopkins, as well as clinical and research fellowships in neuropsychiatry at Hopkins. An active clinician, teacher, and researcher, Dr. Peters is the Director of Clinical Services for psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Bayview. He is the recipient of multiple awards including the 2022 Argo Award for Science from the President of the Hellenic Republic.
