Overview

Dr. Matthew Stack is an infectious disease specialist who provides consultations - inpatient and outpatient - for patients ages 18 and older. He specializes in infectious diseases affecting transplant patients as well as those who are immunocompromised. Some of the infections he diagnoses, treats, and manages include fungal and cytomegalovirus (CMV) infections. Dr. Stack's mission is to provide the best, most up-to-date, evidence-based care for the solid organ transplant and immunocompromised patient population. He also works tirelessly to educate his patients about their infectious disease. Dr. Stack is an assistant professor with the Division of Infectious Diseases in the Department of Internal Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He is also a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America; Mycosis Study Group Education and Research Consortium; and the American Society of Transplantation. Fun fact: College football season is Dr. Stack's favorite time of the year!.
