Overview
Dr. Mauricio Avila is a neurosurgeon who specializes in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery for an array of spinal conditions and disorders, including spinal deformities, degenerative spine disease, spinal trauma, spine tumors, spinal cord tumors, spinal infections, spinal stenosis, sciatica, neck and back pain, scoliosis, and spondylolisthesis. He is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons; American Association of Neurological Surgeons; AO Spine Foundation; and North American Spine Society.
