Overview
Dr. Fanelli grew up in rural Pennsylvania and pursued her educational training throughout the East Coast and Midwest. She developed an interest in pediatrics early in her medical training after seeing the impact one can have on helping a child achieve their dreams through improving vision. She is excited to move to Delaware with her husband and dog and join the Nemours family. I became a pediatric ophthalmologist because it allowed me to be part of a child’s story and help them reach their fullest potential from the time they were born through their young adult years. I am passionate about being part of a team striving to help children grow and reach their goals. I try to make a difference by treating each child and family as I would want my own child and family to be cared for.
Her clinical expertise encompasses Retinopathy of Prematurity and Strabismus.
