Philosophy of care | Sports medicine covers care for all types of patients who are, or desire to be, physically active. I optimize non-surgical treatment options for a spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions and apply ultrasound imaging for an array of concerns. I help you identify your specific goals and expectations because that’s instrumental to shared decision-making and providing you optimal care. | Why I entered medicine | I pursued medicine out of a love for the science of our bodies in motion and a desire to help others be their best. After volunteering at a clinic in Bolivia, I knew medicine would be in my future. As a medical student, I was drawn to the knowledge and skill required in the care of athletes and active individuals. My background as a collegiate athlete affords me added perspective into the lives of my patients. | Community involvement | One of my favorite aspects of my profession is engaging with communities, both domestic and abroad, and encouraging community involvement in the health and well-being of the population. Healthy communities produce healthy people. I am an advocate for health equity and access to opportunities for physical activity; I have and actively seek out opportunities to improve sports participation and safety within communities through education, volunteerism and activism. | Personal interests | I am blessed to share life with my husband and our dog. We enjoy spending time with family, pursuing outdoor sports and activities, and traveling. | Image | Lehigh Valley Hospital is ranked 25th in the country for orthopedic care on the 2025-2026 U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals list.
