Overview
Meredith Bean, MD, is a board certified sports medicine physician. She completed her sports medicine fellowship at the University of Colorado. She specializes in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions and is passionate about providing high quality care to competitive as well as recreational athletes of all ages. Dr. Bean is the team physician for University of California Women's Soccer Team and is a team physician for Mills College athletics. She served as the Medical co-Director of the California International Marathon for several years and has provided medical coverage for a wide variety of other sporting events including Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco. Her professional interests include running medicine, sports injury prevention, and treatment of adolescent athletes. Dr. Bean grew up in the Bay Area and played soccer in college for UCLA. She now remains active with running, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, and surfing.
