Michael L. Russell, MD, is a board-certified pulmonologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine. He specializes in in pulmonary and internal medicine with an emphasis on pulmonary disease. He also provides critical care to patients with trauma injuries and acute or life-threatening pulmonary conditions.Additionally, Dr. Russell serves as the physician champion for Orlando Health's Epic Project, a multi-year endeavor driving the development and implementation of technology to create a centralized, comprehensive patient record and more.Pulmonary Care and Sleep MedicineHe is highly trained to care for patients with a need for pulmonary care and sleep medicine. During his final year at Duke, he was honored as Professor Emeritus.He then joined the team at Orlando Health as a practicing physician and chief clinical informatics officer before joining the Epic Project's executive steering committee.
