He is the author or co-author of more than 100 peer-reviewed articles in major medical journals. He serves as co-editor/co-author of Core Competencies in Hospital Medicine, which is published by the Society of Hospital Medicine, and co-editor of Contemporary Hospitalists’ Guide to Anticoagulation. He is the recipient of numerous federally funded, industry-sponsored and foundation awards focused on quality of care, medical education and outcomes research.
