He stayed at the university to complete his surgical residency training in 2008 and then completed advanced training with a fellowship of Minimally Invasive Surgery. Dr. Wilson joined the faculty at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2009 where he practices surgery that embraces state of the art techniques to proved patients with optimal surgical results with the least impact on the patient. At the medical school, he serves as the Medical Director of Surgical Training and part of the Elective General Surgery team.
