Dr. Michelle Rivera-Vega is a board-certified pediatrician and fellowship-trained pediatric endocrinologist with Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Endocrinology and Diabetes Center. About Dr. Rivera-Vega Dr. Rivera-Vega has been a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics with the University of Central Florida School of Medicine in Orlando, as well as the University of California San Diego School of Medicine / Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego. She developed the first multidisciplinary metabolic bone disease clinic for Rady Children's Hospital, which helped improve diagnosis and management of children with complex bone disorders. She is board certified in general pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. Her professional memberships include the Pediatric Endocrine Society, Endocrine Society and American Diabetes Society. Outside of work, Dr. Rivera-Vega enjoys yoga, outdoor activities and volunteer work in underserved countries providing multidisciplinary care for children born with cleft lip and palate.
