Dr. Fernandez completed a fellowship in transplant surgery research at Auxilio Mutuo Hospital. She received additional training in healthcare management through the Yale School of Management’s Executive Education program. About Dr. Fernandez Dr. Fernandez is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Her professional memberships include the American Medical Association, Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, Society of Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgeons, American Vein and Lymphatic Society and Vascular Access Society of the Americas. Outside of work, Dr. Fernandez enjoys spending time with family, traveling, dining out and exercising. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
