Nate Jowett, M.D., Ph.D., F.R.C.S.C., is a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who offers the complete spectrum of care for patients with Bell's palsy and other causes of facial paralysis. Dr. Jowett also specialized in deep plane facelift and facial rejuvenation. He served on the faculty of Harvard Medical School for a decade after medical school at the University of Toronto, surgical training in Otolaryngology and doctoral training in Biomedical Engineering at McGill University, and fellowship training at the University Medical Center Hamburg - Eppendorf and Harvard Medical School. He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications, is a U.S. patent holder, and has been awarded several research grants from the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, the Charles H Hood foundation, and the United States National Institutes of Health. He is an 8 time Boston marathon finisher and lives with his wife and six children in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area.
