Overview
Dr. Paul M. Friedman earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis and completed his residency training in dermatology at New York University School of Medicine in New York City, where he served as chief resident. He then completed a fellowship in dermatologic laser surgery, Mohs micrographic surgery, and cutaneous oncology at the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York in New York City. Board certified in dermatology, Dr. Friedman has practiced medicine since 2000. His expertise and clinical interests include a wide range of dermatological procedures and cosmetic skin care treatments, surgical and non-surgical techniques, such as state-of the-art laser procedures, skin cancer surgery and leg vein treatments. Dr. Friedman provides individualized treatment plans to his patients, who comprise all ages, and takes the time needed to address each patient’s concerns. He is a strong believer in preventive skin care. The author of over 75 medical articles, Dr. Friedman has received numerous recognitions. He was honored by the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery with the Presidential Citation Award in 2015; H Texas magazine named him as one of the Top Docs in 2005, 2009, 2011 and 2014 and Texas Monthly magazine named him a Texas Super Doctor in 2014. He is also listed in Who’s Who in America, Who Who’s in the World and Who’s Who among executives and professionals.
