Dr. Peter MacArthur is a board-certified and fellowship-trained primary care sports medicine physician at Inova Health System. With more than 10 years of experience, he has a special interest in the prevention and management of musculoskeletal and athletic injuries, and the use of diagnostic ultrasound, therapeutic platelet-rich plasma and ultrasound-guided procedures.Dr. MacArthur was drawn to sports medicine because of his own interest in sports and active living. His goal is to help patients of all ages return to their desired activity level as quickly and safely as possible.
