Overview
Dr. Peter Tieh earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo, where he also served as Chief Resident, and a fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California. Board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Tieh has practiced since 2010. He provides comprehensive medical care for children from birth to young adulthood (up to 18 years old). Dr. Tieh speaks Chinese and members of his staff speak Spanish and Vietnamese. His primary clinical interests include newborn and infant care, preventive medicine throughout childhood, asthma maintenance, eczema treatment, ADHD evaluation and treatments, childhood obesity and weight management. Dr. Tieh’s practice philosophy focuses on providing patients and families with the best experience possible, offering both excellent medical care and customer service on every visit. His first priority is doing what is best for each child and putting the child’s needs first. A resident of the Cypress-Katy area, Dr. Tieh is married and the father of three children. His favorite leisure activities are spending time with his family, playing with his kids and relaxing at home. He stays healthy by jogging and biking.
