Philosophy of care | My belief is that all patients, despite their differences, deserve high-quality, compassionate care. It is important to me that I take the time to listen to and get to know you so I can promote a safe and caring environment. | Why I entered medicine | I have always had the desire to help others. While working with at-risk youth, I discovered I had an interest in medicine as I cared for those who were sick or injured. I became a nurse and, because nursing is always evolving, pursued a higher degree so I could care for my patients in a different capacity. | Community involvement | I volunteer with the PTO at my children’s school and help with extracurricular activities. | Personal interests | I enjoy spending free time with my husband and children, going on trips to museums and zoos. We love the beach and Disney parks. I also enjoy catching up with friends and reading a good book.
