Dr. Rachel M. Carpenter

"Dr. Rachel Carpenter was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She obtained a BS in biology and chemistry at the University of Texas at El Paso while competing on the school's soccer team. After completing medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Rachel and her husband Matt moved to the beautiful state of Colorado for medical training. She and her husband both completed residency training in Denver and have called Colorado ""home"" ever since.Rachel enjoys family medicine because of the close relationships she builds with her patients over time and the broad spectrum of care she provides.  ""I strongly believe that patients are at the center of their care, and we as healthcare providers should always keep this in mind.  Whether it is a seemingly small choice or a complex decision, we are here to help facilitate that conversation together with our patients."" In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, concerts, and spending time at home or in the mountains with her husband and dog Cooper.".

Her clinical expertise encompasses Traumatic Brain Injury, Graves Disease, and Hyperthyroidism.

Dr. Carpenter is board certified in American Board Of Family Medicine. She is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 3 peer reviewed articles. Dr. Carpenter is currently accepting new patients.
