"Dr. Rachel Carpenter was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She obtained a BS in biology and chemistry at the University of Texas at El Paso while competing on the school's soccer team. After completing medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Rachel and her husband Matt moved to the beautiful state of Colorado for medical training. She and her husband both completed residency training in Denver and have called Colorado ""home"" ever since.
