Overview

In the 1970s, I was a nuclear engineering student at University of Michigan and then worked on professional staff on the U.S. Senate Environment Subcommittee. It wasn’t until 1975 that I decided a career in medicine would fulfill my desire to use scientific information to solve problems to truly help people. I thoroughly enjoy children – even the tough ones are loveable. It’s easy to connect with kids, and give them my full attention. Helping a child get well is what I’m passionate about. It may sound corny, but when I look into the eyes of a child I see beyond the disease, to the child's soul. For me, we have two sets of patients – the child and the family. It’s my goal to be helpful to both.

His clinical expertise encompasses Short Stature (Growth Disorders), Idiopathic Short Stature (ISS), Familial Short Stature (FSS), and Vitamin D Deficiency.
