Dr. Rohan Kulangara earned his undergraduate degree in biology at The University of Texas at Dallas and his medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and completed his internship and residency in general surgery at the University of Illinois in Chicago. During his fellowship in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery in Florida at Jackson South Medical Center/University of Miami, he trained in robotic and laparoscopic surgery for the management of weight loss, gastric reflux and colon cancer. Board certified in general surgery, Dr. Kulangara specializes in robotic and minimally invasive procedures. His primary clinical interests include robotic general surgery, gallbladder disease, abdominal wall hernia, hiatal hernia, diverticulitis, hemorrhoids, reflux surgery, colon cancer and skin lesions, masses and cysts.
