Overview
Dr. Ronda A. Zulich, MD, FAAP, MHIS, is a board-certified pediatrician providing a superior level of empathetic and individualized care to newborns, children and young adults up to age 26 in Las Vegas, Nevada area. At Southern Nevada Pediatric Center, Dr. Zulich offers a range of general pediatric services and treatments, including newborn care including complex NICU graduates, adolescent care, mental health care, ADHD diagnosis and treatment, various laboratory testing, STD & pregnancy testing, vaccinations, referrals, and physical exams.
Dr. Zulich obtained her pediatric training from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Medicine and Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital in California. She obtained her medical training at St. George’s University School of Medicine.
She has worked at several prestigious medical facilities, including UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital, Olive-View UCLA Medical Center NICU, an adolescent clinic affiliated with LAC-USC and Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles, California. Most recently she worked at our very own pediatric emergency department at Sunrise Children’s Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Zulich has been described as genuine and truly cares about the needs of every child and teen. From preventive care to sick visits, physical exams and testing, Dr. Zulich understands that optimal care requires attentiveness, time, and compassion.
Dr. Zulich was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She is an avid traveler and has visited several African countries, several Western European, many Eastern European countries, Egypt, Israel, many Middle Eastern Countries, Russia and China. She did some medical training in London, England and in Prague, Czech Republic. She is well rounded, well read and sees tremendous value in everywhere she has been and everyone she knows. She currently spends most of her free time with her family. She is married and has two young children.

After graduating from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, Frederick F. Herman, MD decided to embrace his calling and apply to medical school. He obtained his medical degree from Saint Louis University School of Medicine, and from there trained with various hospitals in Los Angeles including UCLA Medical Center in Pediatrics and Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Allergy and Immunology.Thirty years of research experience has made Dr. Herman an expert Allergist. He is particularly passionate about children's health, and for many years served on the board of the Ronald McDonald House as the Director of the Asthma Camp Programs. Dr. Herman also served as Medical Director with the City of Long Beach, where he managed programs to assist in the treatment of children with asthma, diabetes, and obesity. He was actively involved with the 'Breath- mobile', an RV that provides treatment for asthma to those who otherwise may not have access to proper medical care.His diverse expertise, experience, and excellent bedside manner has made him one of the most sought after physicians in the country.
