Overview
I am a board-eligible psychiatrist specializing in treating sexual issues and providing sex therapy. I aim to provide empathic, non-judgmental care for individuals identifying as sexual minorities. I believe there are millions of ways to be a beautiful, fulfilled sexual being. You know yourself best, and I consider it a privilege to learn more about you. I believe any identity is valid and acceptable, and that you deserve as much pleasure and sexual satisfaction as you could ever want.
As one of the country's few psychiatrists who also practices sex therapy, I can provide unique and specialized services for patients who have been marginalized and oppressed. I offer a combination of sex therapy and medication management, tailored to both your personal and medical needs. While I predominantly follow an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approach, I also incorporate elements of psychodynamic psychotherapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed therapy, and supportive therapy.
I treat 18 individuals within any sexual minority group - including members of the LGBTQIA , trans, gender-expansive, non-monogamous, and kink communities plus those who participate in unconventional sexual practices. I also treat couples and individuals within various relationship structures (such as triads, polycules, or other non-monogamous relationships).
