Overview
My path to foot and ankle orthopaedic surgery came through my desire to provide exceptional patient care and a commitment to help people feel better. This commitment has seen reinvigoration and reinvention over my career. One of the most challenging aspects of foot and ankle orthopaedics is the wide variety and breadth of patients, injuries, pathologies, and deformities that we care for. I treat post-surgical patients dealing with healing issues, diabetic patients with foot and ankle issues, and patients dealing with wounds and infections, deformities, Charcot arthropathy, and more. I have a personal appreciation for foot and ankle injuries encountered by young athletes, workers, and weekend warriors, as I dealt with nagging ankle injuries as a competitive basketball player and West Virginia high school state champion. I look forward to working together to help you get back on your feet, in whatever capacity, through non-operative care or surgery. It is an honor and privilege to care for each of my patients.

I am passionate about caring for patients with primary brain and spinal cord tumors. I value establishing relationships with patients and their families and making sure they are getting the same treatment, including symptom management, that I would want my family to receive. Open and honest communication with patients is important to me. I enjoy educating patients and advocating for them to ensure that their needs are met in a timely fashion. I am interested in long-term survivorship education of my patients and I also have a passion for teaching and mentoring future health care professionals.
