Overview
Samantha Schwenneker, ARNP, CPNP, is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner who treats ONLY CHILDREN at MercyOne Grimes Pediatrics Care and MercyOne Grimes Family Medicine. “I have always loved kids and being involved in the care of children. The best part about taking care of pediatric patients is the opportunity to care for and support the whole family through childhood and adolescence,” said Samantha. Samantha started her career in 2003 as a pediatric intensive care nurse and has been an advanced practice nurse practitioner since 2008. She received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Iowa and is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Samantha is particularly interested in infant care, child development, preventive medicine, anxiety, depression, ADHD and athletes. Samantha stays busy in Adel with her husband and their three sons. They are active in their church and volunteer with Dallas County 4-H. She enjoys doing yoga, reading, traveling, gardening and working on their acreage.
