Dr. Girgis completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Ohio and in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. About Dr. Girgis Dr. Girgis is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and electrophysiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society and a member of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Girgis previously served as associate program director and assistant professor at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, karate, tennis, ping pong, reading and singing in his church choir. Dr. Girgis is fluent in English and Arabic.
