She completed her residency in internal medicine at University of Maryland and went on to complete fellowship in medical oncology and hematology at Duke University. In 2018, she joined the staff of Duke Cancer Institute and ultimately served as Associate Director of Breast Cancer Research. She joined Brigham and Women's and Dana-Farber in 2022, where she is a medical oncologist and clinical investigator in the Breast Oncology Center. She serves as Associate Director of the Metastatic Breast Cancer Program.
