Overview
Dr. Mallik completed her residency training in Primary Care and Social Internal Medicine at Montefiore. She joined the faculty as a clinician educator in 2016. In addition to teaching and precepting residents at the Comprehensive Health Care Center and providing direct care to her patients, she is also the onsite physician for the Brook, a residential building in the Bronx which provides permanent supportive housing to chronically homeless individuals with coexisting psychiatric and medical conditions. Her academic interests include addiction medicine, the psychosocial curriculum, and the intersections between health and spirituality. Most recently, Dr. Mallik completed her MA in Religion at Union Theological Seminary in New York City in Spring 2020. Prior to residency at Montefiore, Dr. Mallik received her medical degree at the Yale School of Medicine and completed her undergraduate degree at the Honors College at Stony Brook University.
