I enjoy practicing infectious disease medicine because I get to see a variety of cases across all medical and surgical specialties. My interests include the overuse of antibiotics and how it relates to antibiotic resistance – I work hard not to add to this problem by overprescribing antibiotics. Additionally, I like treating a variety of infections, particularly fungal infections and HIV. Dedicated and calming, I care greatly about helping my patients get the best possible health care.
