"Dr. Jacob Zide is a native of Fort Worth and graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Zide received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas finishing first in his class. Dr. Zide is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and was awarded the Gold Humanism Award in 2007. He completed both his internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern at Dallas. While there, he served as Chief Resident and was awarded the W. Brandon Carrell Distinguished Physician Award.
