I never lose sight of how important it is to treat the whole family and to recognize the effects of disease on it. I believe that Duke offers patients the best and most advanced care that they can get anywhere in the world. I’ve been touched by cancer in my life. Just being on the receiving end of health care makes you very sensitive about the things required for the patient to feel like they are getting the best possible care.
