Overview
I am a pediatric neurologist specializing in epilepsy. I see infants, children, and adolescents with epilepsy and other neurological disorders. Treating epilepsy is more than seizure control. The complex secondary effects of the disease, such as a child's social and emotional development, much also be assessed and managed. I believe that every person with epilepsy and other neurological diseases needs to be treated as a whole person and provided with compassionate and excellent care, so that they can achieve their full potential. I treat the whole spectrum of pediatric epilepsy, including common infantile, childhood, and adolescent epilepsy syndromes, genetic and developmental epilepsies, and difficult-to-treat epilepsies that may require alternative treatments, such as dietary or surgical therapies. I am from New Jersey, and North Carolina has been a beautiful place to call home. I have two young children that keep me active. In my free time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors with my family and love baking treats.
