At Northside Plastic Surgery, we proudly welcome Dr. Shreyas Makwana—affectionately known as Dr. Mak—to our elite team of board-certified plastic surgeons. A distinguished academic, meticulous surgeon, and warmhearted caregiver, Dr. Makwana brings a rare blend of technical excellence, artistic vision, and down-to-earth compassion to every patient experience.
Dr. Makwana’s impressive education began in the scenic town of Brevard, North Carolina. His early love for science and innovation earned him a place at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, one of the nation’s most prestigious high schools.
From there, he completed his undergraduate degree at New York University. He later graduated cum laude from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta—earning multiple academic honors and a coveted induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
Before joining Northside Plastic Surgery, Dr. Makwana practiced in Northern California, working alongside the president of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. During this time, he refined his expertise in advanced cosmetic techniques. He achieved board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery, placing in the 97th percentile nationwide on his board exam—evidence of his extraordinary knowledge and surgical skill.
