Dr. Teodoro Y. Sanchez Burgos began his medical education and training at the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán in Mérida, Mexico. After earning his medical degree, he completed an internship at the Hospital de Pediatria Centro Medico Nacional in Mexico. In 1975, Dr. Sanchez Burgos moved to Houston to continue his training with McGovern Medical School at UTHealth. He completed his residency at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, and his fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Board certified in pediatrics, Dr. Sanchez Burgos cares for patients ages 18 years and younger. He specializes in allergies (allergic diseases), asthma (reactive airway disease), child obesity, newborns and preventive medicine.
