I diagnose and treat patients with a variety of infections in the clinic and hospital setting. I am committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care for patients living with HIV. I also provide preventive care, including PrEP, that can help patients avoid infection and stay healthy. I enjoy spending time hearing my patients’ histories and working with them to diagnose the cause of their symptoms. I work hard to treat patients effectively. My goal is to get patients back to living their lives with as minimal infection-related disruption a possible. Infectious diseases is a broad and diverse field with new fascinating information coming out all the time. I feel lucky that I get to work in a field that is extremely interesting and fulfilling. Like other clinicians in my group at HealthPartners, I provide culturally sensitive care to diverse communities, including LGBTQIA individuals, refugees and immigrants. I follow the Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA) guidelines in the diagnosis and treatment of Lyme disease.
