As an allergist with more than three decades of experience, I understand that quality of life is a major issue for our patients. I have a personal as well as professional perspective on the problems we see in our department. I had cough-type asthma as a child and have been on various allergy treatments myself, including allergy immunotherapy injections. I have also undergone sinus surgery. I completed my fellowship in allergy and immunology at Saint Louis University in 1985 and currently serve as head of Allergy and Asthma at HealthPartners.
