Morton, MD, a Diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, trained at the rigorous and highly regarded University of Washington's integrated plastic surgery residency program where he learned from internationally renowned experts in reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. He is one of the few craniomaxillofacial surgeons in the United States board certified in Plastic Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.Dr. Susarla has a robust research portfolio, with over 300 publications. He is on the editorial boards for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
