Dr. McCann received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Princeton University. She earned her M.D. from Duke University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Stanford University School of Medicine, where she also performed a fellowship in psychiatry. Dr. McCann joined the Johns Hopkins faculty in 1999. Her research interests include amphetamine-induced monoamine neurotoxicity and the neurobiology of anxiety disorders. Dr. McCann is a member of the Society for Neuroscience. She speaks both English and Spanish.
