Overview
As an emergency medicine physician, I have the privilege of helping of people in very difficulty times in their lives. There is nothing that fulfills me more than alleviating pain and suffering and providing efficient quality care that impacts people at critical moments in their lives. Furthermore, I enjoy the interpersonal connections I develop with my patients and working with a multitude of professionals as a member of the healthcare team. What I want my patients to know about me:I love to teach. I help to train emergency medicine residents and work with medical students every day. Educating the doctors of tomorrow is very important to me. I also believe that patient understanding is very important. Please do not hesitate to ask me questions about your care. I am also the chair of our quality review committee for our emergency department. Providing evidence based, timely care is how we as a department serve our community best and I spend a lot of time reviewing cases to ensure we provide the best care possible for our patients. What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I enjoy the outdoors - running, biking, playing with my dog. I also love spending time with my family.
