Wellbeing and Survival Improvement With Event Reduction by Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation in the Very Elderly (WISER-AF)

Summary: The WISER-AF trial is a multicenter, double-blind, sham-controlled, randomized controlled trial. It aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of catheter ablation compared to a sham procedure in improving the quality of life (SF-36 score) in very elderly patients (aged ≥80 years) with symptomatic atrial fibrillation over a 6-month follow-up period.

PulseSelect PFA Global Registry, a Part of the Medtronic Cardiac Ablation Post-Market Study Platform

Summary: The PulseSelect™ PFA Global Registry is a prospective, global, multi-center, observational post-approval study. Subjects will be treated with the PulseSelect™ PFA System and followed according to SOC.

Feasibility, Safety, Cost-effectiveness, and Environmental Impact of Reprocessed Ablation Catheters in Pulmonary Vein Isolation

Summary: This study evaluates whether re-sterilized (reprocessed) ablation catheters are as effective and safe as new ablation catheters when used for pulmonary vein isolation in patients with atrial fibrillation. Adult patients scheduled for catheter ablation will be randomly assigned to undergo the procedure using either a new catheter or a re-sterilized catheter, with identical procedural techniques app...

Anatomical Navigation for Guided Electrophysiology in AFL and AFib

Summary: The objective of the study is to collect data on the use of the VERAFEYE Anatomical Guidance System in adult patients indicated to undergo a catheter ablation procedure for the treatment of Atrial Flutter (AFL), paroxysmal AF (PAF) or persistent AF (perAF). The study will collect specific information on management of AFL/AF ablation procedures with the commercial VERAFEYE Anatomical Guidance Syste...

    DiamondTemp Global Registry

Summary: The DiamondTemp™ Global Registry is a prospective, global, multi-center, observational post-market registry.

Optimised Decrement Evoked Potential (DeEP) Mapping to Guide Ventricular Tachycardia (VT) Ablation in Patients With Structural Heart Disease VT

Summary: Ventricular tachycardia (VT) is a life-threatening heart rhythm disorder. Special pacemakers called implantable cardiac defibrillators (ICDs) help treat VT episodes, however they do not prevent the VT episodes from occurring. Catheter ablation for VT is a minimally-invasive and established procedure for preventing VT recurrence. This involves placing wires in the heart to find the diseased areas t...

Rate or Rhythm Control in CRT: the RHYTHMIC Study

Summary: 70 patients with heart failure, AF and CRT with BiV\<95% will be randomised to either AF ablation or AV node ablation. Evaluation at 6 months with echocardiography and clinical assessment.

EfFect of Ablation of Persistent AtriaL Fibrillation on COgNitive Function in Individuals With Mild Cognitive Impairment : - The FALCON Study-

Summary: The goal of this clinical trial is to evaluate the effect of catheter ablation of persistent atrial fibrillation on cognitive function in patients with mild cognitive impairment. Participants will be randomized into antiarrhythmic drugs alone or atrial fibrillation ablation + antiarrhythmic drugs.

ELectrocardiographic Imaging-guided Substrate Ablation in Patients With Atrial Fibrillation - a PILOT Study of a Personalized Therapy

Summary: The goal of this pilot study is to test if noninvasive global mapping can guide catheter ablation defining personalized targets and improve the therapy of atrial fibrillation. It will also test the safety of such an approach. The main questions it aims to answer are: * Does ablation of targets defined by noninvasive global mapping improve rates of acute atrial fibrillation termination? * Does such...

The Effect of Pulse Field Ablation on Atrial Mechanics Assessed by MRI and on Patient-related Outcomes in Catheter Ablation of Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation

Summary: The goal of this clinical trial is to compare the effect of pulmonary vein isolation on atrial function between pulse-field and cryoablation in patients over the age of 18 with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. The main question it aims to answer is: • Is catheter ablation energy (pulse field ablation) revealing a better preservation of the atrial function architecture than with conventional cathete...

Initial Safety and Performance of the CellFX® Nano-PFA 360 Catheter Endocardial Ablation System for the Treatment of Atrial Fibrillation

Summary: The objective of this study is to demonstrate initial safety and effectiveness of the CellFX nano-second Pulsed Field Ablation (nsPFA or nano-PFA) 360 Catheter Endocardial Ablation System in treating subjects with atrial fibrillation.

Pulse Biosciences' CellFX nsPFA Cardiac Surgery Clamp System for the Treatment of Atrial Fibrillation During Concomitant Cardiac Surgery

Summary: The primary objective of this Pivotal study is to demonstrate the safety and effectiveness of the Pulse Biosciences nsPFA™ Cardiac Surgery System in treating atrial fibrillation during concomitant cardiac surgical procedures.
