Philosophy of care | I make every medical decision with a constant reminder to “do the right thing.” My goal as a trauma surgeon and critical care doctor is to be safe while striving toward your best outcome. I also recognize that outcome is determined by your goals, a fact I will always respect as I do all I can to help you reach them. | Why I entered medicine | I was exposed to medicine at an early age because of family illnesses. I was amazed how a team could save a life and have such a large impact on both the patient and the family. I chose acute care surgery because I believed I could have the greatest impact through its balance of trauma/emergency surgery and critical care. | Community involvement | I am new to the Lehigh Valley, but my wife is from Souderton. After a few years in California we are excited to get involved here. | Personal interests | I love spending time with family and being outdoors. I am always looking toward the next adventure with my wife as we travel in pursuit of great food, coffee and views.
