Overview
Aric A. Christal, MD, is a board-certified joint preservation and joint replacement surgeon. His areas of expertise include hip and knee replacement, minimally invasive surgery, computer-assisted surgery, partial joint replacement, arthroscopy, and revision of failed or painful prior joint replacements. He strives to provide the highest level of care to all patients equally in an effort to get them back on their feet and enjoying life.Dr. Christal is a clinical instructor for robotic joint replacement and frequently leads courses for surgeons, community physicians and the public. He is a regular speaker at both national meetings and international conferences. Dr. Christal was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, cycling, mountaineering and spending time with his wife and children.
