He then finished OB/GYN residency at David Grant Medical Center at Travis AFB in Northern California. Dr. Gruber then was a general OB/GYN in Birburg, Germany and at Joint Base Andrews, MD. His next accomplishment was completing a fellowship in Female Pelvic Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (Urogynecology) at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. He stayed there for the next 9 years serving in multiple roles, including Division Director for Urogynecology, Assistant Department Chief for OB/GYN, Fellowship Director, creating numerous surgical videos and publications.
