He earned his medical doctorate from the Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City, and went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at Columbia University Medical Center.Following his training in internal medicine, Dr. Rene went on to complete his general cardiology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
